Holland2Stay takes over management of Java Eiland and Sloten

As of Friday, May 1, 2026, Holland2Stay takes over the management of two new residential locations in Amsterdam: Java Eiland and Sloten. With this expansion, we strengthen our presence in the Dutch capital and add two distinctive Amsterdam neighborhoods to our portfolio. Together, the buildings include 205 apartments and maisonettes.

Two new locations in Amsterdam
Starting May 1, 2026, we will manage two new residential complexes in the city: Java Eiland in Amsterdam Oost and Sloten in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. 

Residents may already know us from locations such as 7EVEN and Twin in Nieuw-West, WFC Lofts in West, and Europahuis in Oost. By adding Java-eiland and Nieuw Sloten, we continue to broaden our presence across the city. Each neighborhood has its own character, atmosphere, and way of living, making Amsterdam such a unique place to call home.

Java Eiland is located in Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands, known for its waterfront setting, modern architecture, and open views over the IJ.

Waterfront living at Java Eiland
Java Eiland features 155 apartments and maisonettes along the Sumatrakade in Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands. The neighborhood is known for its modern architecture, calm atmosphere, and unique waterfront setting.

With Amsterdam Central Station just a short bike ride away and quick access to the A10 via the Piet Hein Tunnel, Java-eiland combines peaceful waterfront living with the energy of the city. Wide promenades, inner courtyards, and views over the IJ create a spacious and open feeling throughout the area.

Supermarkets, restaurants, coffee spots, and cultural hotspots are all within easy reach. It's a neighborhood where residents can fully enjoy city life, while still experiencing a quieter side of Amsterdam.

Peaceful living in Nieuw Sloten
Sloten also became part of the Holland2Stay portfolio. Located along Leuvenstraat, this residential complex consists of 50 apartments in the green neighborhood of Nieuw Sloten, Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

The area is known for its relaxed atmosphere, wide streets, and green surroundings. Many apartments overlook Kasterleepark, offering open views and a calm residential setting. At the same time, Amsterdam city center, Schiphol Airport, and the A10 are all within easy reach.

Residents can find supermarkets, cafés, and daily amenities nearby at the shopping center Belgiëplein, while tram 2 provides a direct connection to Amsterdam Central Station.

Sloten offers spacious living in a green residential area of Amsterdam Nieuw-West, close to both the city and nature.

Strengthening our presence in Amsterdam
With Java Eiland and Sloten, Holland2Stay continues to expand its presence across Amsterdam. The addition of these two locations reflects the diversity of the city itself: from waterfront living in the Eastern Docklands to peaceful residential living in Nieuw-West.
