Mierloseweg in Helmond is almost ready for its first residents, and this week the photos of the finished homes came in. On Thursday, October 29, the building opens its doors for an Open House, so you can also see the homes in person.
On the Mierloseweg in Helmond West, 36 new homes have been built since the site was cleared last year. The building is now in its final phase. Every home has one bedroom and an A++++ energy label.

A look inside
Each home has an open kitchen that flows into the living room, with an induction hob and a dishwasher. White walls and wood-look flooring run through every room, and floor heating keeps the home warm. The bedroom gets plenty of daylight.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower with dark marble tiles, combined with warm beige tiling and a white vanity unit. The toilet is separate and finished in the same beige tiles, and there's a connection for a washing machine.
The open kitchen and the bathroom with a walk-in shower are finished and ready for move-in.

Apartment or maisonette?
Mierloseweg has 26 apartments and 10 maisonettes. The apartments have everything on one floor. The maisonettes are spread over two floors connected by a staircase, with an entrance on the ground floor and a second one via the gallery, which gives them more of a house-like feel. Some homes also have a private balcony.

Semi-furnished
Every home at Mierloseweg is delivered semi-furnished: the wood-look flooring is in place, and the kitchen is fully equipped. You bring your own curtains and lighting. An overview of what's included:

Living in Helmond West
Mierloseweg is in Helmond West, a residential neighborhood. Combicentrum Mierloseweg, a neighborhood shopping center with a supermarket and local shops, is around the corner, and Warande park is close by.
Helmond 't Hout station is about a kilometer from the building, with trains to Eindhoven Centraal in around 10 minutes. Helmond's city center is a 20-minute walk away, and by car the N270 takes you to Eindhoven.

The first residents are expected to move in from November, and the rental process will start soon.
