Recap of our 5th King's Day Bingo

This year marked a special milestone for Holland2Stay – the 5th edition of our annual King's Day Bingo! What began as a small virtual gathering has grown into a tradition, bringing residents together across the Netherlands to get into the King's Day spirit.

In the lead-up to the country's most festive day, we invited our residents to get into the King's Day mood by playing two games of bingo. Besides getting into the orange vibes, it's a friendly competition to win one of the great prizes. This year, we reached a record: over 3,000 residents signed up, making it our biggest King's Day event yet!

BINGO!

The concept of our King's Day Bingo is simple: a livestreamed bingo show, hosted by Holland2Stay and streamed on YouTube. Residents can tune in from the comfort of their own homes or head to one of the pre-selected Holland2Stay locations to watch and play the game together. For this edition, we invited our residents to watch the livestream together at Limburglaan (Maastricht), CORE (Nieuwegein), The Y (The Hague), DNA and The Lee Towers (Rotterdam), and VB Student Living. It brings our communities together in a fun and festive way.

Leading the livestream was Joana, our former Bingo Queen and Property Manager in Eindhoven. She was joined by fellow Eindhoven Property Manager Michel, stepping into the role as sidekick, aka Bingo King. Together, they delivered an engaging and entertaining show that kept spirits high from start to finish!

As always, residents played two games of bingo. Those who completed one line as first won a signature orange Holland2Stay bathrobe, while the first ones to complete two lines won a customized JBL Bluetooth speaker. The lucky one who got all the numbers in the box won an Airfryer Dual Basket. The live chat lit up with people connecting and sharing the orange vibe.

Viewing parties

This year, we introduced a new concept: viewing parties. Residents were given the opportunity to host their own get-togethers in the shared space of their buildings. In Oostersingel (Groningen) and Benjamin (Amersfoort), residents grabbed this opportunity with both hands. It's great to see how these communities embraced the event and turned it into something memorable.

More than a game

In the end, our King's Day Bingo is more than just numbers and prizes – it's about bringing people together. It's a chance to meet new neighbors, share laughs, and create a sense of community within our buildings. This event continues to reflect what Holland2Stay is all about: Living better, together.
