A former care home in Dordrecht is transforming into Thureborgh, with 199 brand-new studios for students and young professionals, right next to Weizigtpark. Here's what's coming in 2027!
As Dordrecht continues to attract more students and young professionals, Thureborgh adds the type of housing this growing group is looking for: modern studios in a green and well-connected location. Construction began in April 2026, and the project is expected to be ready in 2027.
Thureborgh will be our second building in Dordrecht, only one kilometer from our building DEHOLLAND. This new project will house 199 rental studios in total and is set to become a lively new community on the east side of Weizigtpark. Whether you're studying nearby, starting your first job in the region, or simply looking for an independent place to call home in Dordrecht, the building is designed to fit that first step into your own place.
Every studio at Thureborgh is designed as a fully independent home, built with starters and young residents in mind. Each one will come with its own bathroom, complete with toilet, shower and sink, along with a kitchen block and enough room to live and work exactly how you like.

One of Thureborgh's biggest advantages is what's right outside the front door. Weizigtpark sits directly next to the building, and Dordrecht's train station is just 5 minutes away on the other side of it. The park forms the route between Thureborgh and Dordrecht Central Station, making your daily commute both quick and green. It's also a great park to clear your head between study sessions or after a long day. With wide paths, open lawns, and water throughout the park, stepping away from your books or your desk won't get much easier than this.

Whether you want to go for a run or simply take a walk to unwind, Weizigtpark offers plenty of space to recharge.
Thureborgh's location does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to daily life. Here's what future residents can expect to have close by:

Beyond Dordrecht itself, the wider region is easy to reach too by train. Dordrecht's train station is only one kilometer away!
